Old Pulteney Flotilla Vintage 2010 Single Malt
Flotilla - a fleet of boats or small ships – is rooted in the old French word ‘flote’ meaning multitude. Crafted at the Pulteney Distillery in the rugged coastal town of Wick in the far north of Scotland, this vintage is matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels to give a fine single malt with smooth, complex flavours and coastal characteristics.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Vanilla sweetness with hints of zestt lemon and green apples, rounded off with a distinct maritime note.
Taste: Freshly ground spices open up to notes of toffee and coconut. The finish is full bodied with a warm, long lasting finish.
