Loureiro originates from the Lima sub-region, the birthplace of the Loureiro grape variety. This area is characterized by granitic soils, which are deep and low in organic matter. The vineyards are situated on gentle slopes with a south-facing orientation along the banks of the Lima River, benefiting from the cool Atlantic breezes. This maritime influence imparts a distinct freshness and aromatic vibrancy to the wine. As a result, the terroir produces a wine with remarkable freshness, crystalline acidity, and a pronounced salinity.

The grapes are handpicked and transported in small boxes to the winery under refrigerated conditions to ensure swift processing. The whole, de-stemmed grapes are gently pressed, followed by cold clarification for 48-72 hours. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures (14-18ºC) over an extended period, with the wine aging on fine lees for at least four months, accompanied by regular bâtonnage.

On the nose, the wine presents delicate floral aromas reminiscent of white blossoms. On the palate, it offers a refined balance between refreshing acidity and the floral notes from the nose, leading to an elegant, mouthwatering finish.
