Malma is a term native to Patagonia, meaning pride. Pride in the journey taken and in what has been accomplished. Bodega Malma, owned by the Viola family, pioneers in viticulture in San Patricio del Chañar, honors its name by filling us with pride with wines that reflect the terroir and the care put into them.
The Family Reserve line features wines where the terroir expresses itself candidly, with pure varietal aromas and a balanced and elegant tannic structure. Barrel aging imparts complexity and longevity to the wines.
Appearance is ruby red with violet highlights. Nose is full on plum jam & black fruit, yet subtle, fresh and great oak integration. On the palate, the wine has a full body, with robust yet gentle tannins, well rounded and vibrant. Finish is long and persistent.
