Glenfiddich Triple Oak 12 Year Old Single Malt
Once again, the Scottish Glenfiddich distillery has decided to produce a special bottling. Three types of barrels were used for this beautiful 12 year old single malt whiskey.
Bourbon, sherry and freshly charred French oak barrels were used. With their special properties, all three contribute to a harmonious taste experience for such a briefly matured whiskey.
Tasting Notes
The first impression when opening the bottle speaks clearly of the typical Glenfiddich character. Soft aromas, some fruitiness and light wood notes are in the foreground.
As you would expect, it is also super comfortable and soft. After a few seconds in the mouth, the individual aromas come to the forefront: sweet caramel, fruity notes and a hint of oak and smoke can be recognized.
