Tasting Notes

Wine with a nose of citrus fruits and candied fruit with a discreet and elegant entry in the mouth. A lovely length wine with a liquorice finish.

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.

Vineyards: The area of these Chablis wines is located on limestone soils from the Kimmeridgian and Portlandian Upper Jurassic era, in the municipalities of Chablis, Préhy and Villy. This type of soil is defined by an alternation of very compact, very hard limestone layers and softer clayey marls, containing fossilized marine organisms.

Vinification: Pneumatic pressing and static cold settling. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.

Best served with: This fruity Chablis is excellent as an aperitif, it also goes wonderfully with seafood, snails and cold meats.

Peak drinking: This Chablis is a ready-to-drink wine with a cellaring potential of 3 to 6 years.
