Single malt Scotch whisky from the Knockando distillery in the prolific Speyside region, aged for a dozen years before being bottled. Interestingly, they seem to have done away with including the vintage for this bottling.
Bright gold colur with a faint nose reminiscent of grassy, sweetish, peat. Lemon grass. Marshmallow. Shortbread.
The body is light but smooth with a soft palate. Creamy and faintly honey-ed. One can detect some raspberries and lemon zest. The finish is nutty and has a toffeeish dryness.
