Black-gray volcanic weathered rock - cooled lava! The Schlossberg is located directly in front of Achkarren in the Kaiserstuhl area, where the Syrah grows on the sunny south-facing slope. The wines are complex, mineral and spicy - with salty notes, smoky flint and intense, dark fruit aromas as well as the typical pepper notes of the Syrah grape.
