Like every whiskey in the series, Batch Strength 005 is distinctive and differs slightly in style. The Tamdhu distillery is known for its maturation in sherry barrels, but it goes even further. The best of the best Oloroso barrels are used for maturation. Young once-filled barrels are honestly hand-picked to achieve the best possible result.
Aroma: Brazil nuts, cinnamon, warm vanilla
Taste: cream, spicy summer berries, a drop of water reveals citrus tones, oak and freshly baked biscuits
Conclusion: warm pepper and fresh sweetness of clementine bark
