Tasting Notes
Dry and medium bodied Rosé with underlying sweetness, firm minerality and crisp acidity. Strikingly evident that it’s a Spätburgunder from Baden but also surprising on the way that it gives you more than you’d expect. Slight spritz with raspberry, grapefruit and plums but also some spiciness which is rarely present in a Rosè wine of this price range. Palate is rich with wild strawberry flavours, dry salty minerals and bitter stems.
Rousing berries and a little green herbs, strawberries and raspberries compete with pomegranate and lingonberry. Lots of freshness and a trace of minerality make the wine drinkable and fun! Adorable and direct.
Best served with: As an aperitif, with hearty salads and pasta dishes.
Serving temperature: approx. 8 - 10°C.
