Tasting Notes
Fritz Waßmer’s Sauvignon Blanc smells invitingly of cassis, gooseberry and elderberry. Invigorating and racy, the first sip of this wine makes you want more. A versatile food companion, but also a real treat on its own. Exciting with striking acidity and powerful body makes this wine a hearty thirst quencher.
Passion fruit, citrus fruits and a touch of grapefruit peel as well as minerally salty notes, as well as sweet, green herbs - a refreshing, animating bouquet. Dry, without being sour, the palate also shows a generous range of fruit and herbs, aromatic and straightforward.
Best served with: Goes well with fish and seafood.
Serving temperature: approx. 6° - 8°C.
