Bernard Rion Côteaux Bourguignons 2021
The vineyard of the Domaine Rion in AOC Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge (0.3 hectares) are located in Vosne-Romanée. They are more than 70 years old, which gives a crop with concentrated grapes. For this field and for each vineyard of the Domaine, the family RION makes a sustainable and rational agriculture without insecticide and herbicide.
Tasting Notes
After hand picking, the harvest is destemmed and the berries will ferment for 2 weeks in a cement vat. Aged in a tank, the wine is bottled after 6 to 8 months. The characteristics of the Coteaux Bourguignons “Cuvée Fantaisie” are his freshness and full aromas of red fruits.
Grape: Gamay
Ageing: Aged in a tank between 6 to 8 months.
Best served with: The characteristics of the Coteaux Bourguignons “Cuvée Fantaisie” are his freshness and full aromas of red fruits. To be served fresh (about 15°C) with grilled meats, charcuterie and homemade terrines. The last drops of a bottle enable you to make tasty sauces.
