De Martino Estate Carmenère
The De Martino Estate range aims to preserve the Premium quality of our vineyards in Isla de Maipo by creating unique wines with great character. All of the wines that make up this range manage to enhance the distinctiveness of each grape variety and are characterized by being young, with strong fruity notes where the grape becomes the protagonist, delivering pleasant, well balanced wines that are easily paired with food.
Tasting Notes
An elegant and fruity Carmenère, typical of the Maipo Valley. Ruby red in colour, with intense aromas of spices, red pepper, fresh red fruits, cassis and tobacco. The palate shows a friendly and fruity wine, with great volume. It has a long and well balanced finish. A vibrant and fresh wine.
Grape variety: 100% Carmenère grown on Alluvial soils - Maipo Valley.
Vinification and ageing: Fermented in concrete vats, 30% of the wine is aged in used French oak for 9 months.
Best served with: Excellent with chicken, turkey and steamed vegetables.
Serving temperature: 16° - 18°C.
